Our Story
Crack-A-Mac was born from a desire to add value to the incredible products grown in South Africa. Coming from a farming background, we began to see the untapped potential in our homegrown whole foods and set out to create something joyful, honest, and proudly local.
Our Philosophy
At Crack-A-Mac, we believe good food should be fun. It should bring joy to the everyday, spark connection, and taste so good you go back for “just one more”. Our snacks are made for sharing: messy, big flavour, and lots of laughter and our cooking oil is made to show up where it counts: in everyday meals, done properly.
At the heart of everything we make are macadamias grown right here in KwaZulu-Natal. We work closely with local farmers and carefully select quality nuts, choosing varieties that deliver on taste, texture, and reliability. From there, we roast, flavour, and bottle with care. Keeping things simple and letting the macadamias shine.
We don’t overprocess, overcomplicate, or overthink it. Our products aren’t precious, and neither are we. We just believe good ingredients, treated well, speak for themselves.
